1962 Chevrolet Impala Convertible

A complete frame up restoration of a 1962 Impala convertible. Started with the stock frame that has been reinforced and boxed in, then sent to be powder coated to be done in chassis black. From there the suspension was completely rebuilt and control arms boxed in to help eliminate flexing. A GM fast burn 385 stroker motor was mated to a TCI 700r4 overdrive transmission sending power to a Currie 9" rear axle with disc brakes. On top of the engine sits a polished Holley tunnel ram fuel injection system to offer modern day reliability and performance. Vintage Aire AC will keep the occupants cool while cruising around in the new interior.
